My Shell Tank is Finished
I haven`t blocked it yet, I was too excited to try it on and take a picture of it. I can already tell I will love to wear this tank. I enjoyed knitting it, the shapping makes even the stockinette parts more interesting. I used 5 skeins of Knitpicks Shine Sport and adjusted the pattern to size extra small while adding extra length to the body.
There are some more pictures on my blog
Happy Knitting,
Anna

It looks great! Can you explain how you added the length and kept the proportions right?
Thank you for all the lovely comments. What a great knitalong.
I added length to the body under the armhole shaping by decreasing every 14th. row (instead of 12th row as the pattern says) and then knitted evenly. That gave me about 13 inches. In the front I made the cable panel longer by knitting more rows after the side (or the middle slanted) shaping is finished. (in the pattern it says work even until piece measures same as back for shoulder). The right front is made similarly, I made the even part longer and starting shaping the neck when I was 6 inches from the shoulder as it says in the pattern. You can see on the picture that the cables end much lower than in the book and then there is only ribbing, that is the part I made longer.
I love how your tank came out!!! Enjoy wearing it!
It looks AMAZING!
Perfect fit and great job!
Thanks for the tips on making this longer... I will want to do that too when I get to this pattern... really very lovely on you!
Wow - it's gorgeous. Thanks for the tips on lengthening, like you, I would like some coverage...
Would you mind explaining how you re-sized it? I need to also, but I'm not sure how. I love how yours looks!
