Turbulence U-Neck Sweater
A Knit Along for all projects in Knitting Nature by Norah Gaughan
Knitting Nature was a Christmas gift from my mother. A note inside the book said "comes with yarn for one pattern." I set my mind in motion Only one pattern? How could I possibly choose? And on the college student budget, I realized that this gifted yarn might be the only "good" yarn that i would get to knit into a pattern in this book for a while. After long debate, I decided on the yarn first. Hemp yarn. AllHemp6 by Hemp for Knitting/Lanaknits. In a rather lovely sapphire (not a color I often wear or knit with, which made it even nicer.)
I love this book. This is the first book I've picked up recently that found several projects to get to quickly. Even had the perfect yarn for the Basalt Tank.
Knitting is definitely one of my most precious hobbies, and I'm lucky ;) to have two daughters and three grandchildren - with a fourth on the way! - to pass my creations on to. After having browsed the Knitting Nature book, my oldest daughter ordered an Asymmetrical Cardigan, and here it is, modeled by one of my colleagues at work!
