I've gotten about a foot into the Roundabout Leaf Tank. For some reason, the second leaf that I'm working on, isn't looking like the first one I knit. The first one looks like the pic in the book, but I think I may have actually knit it differently than the instructions say to. I've frogged the second leaf about 3 times trying to figure out what's going on. Thought I would be a bit further on this.....

Hey Crissy! I have knit three leaves so far, and they look the same. I am getting close to the point where I will start joining the body. The only thing is, I'm going to have 36.5 inches knit from the beginning before I complete the fourth leaf. (I'm making the petite size.) I would rather finish the leaf before I start joining but that will make the strip about 1 inch longer. I wouldn't mind a little extra room in the hip area. Do you think this will work?

I would think that the 1 inch extra would be okay. It's such an unusual pattern in the way it's put together, that's it's hard to say for sure if it would affect the overall size. I wonder if it would affect the points of connection to the body later on?
